THE ARTIVIST
Growing up different from others might sound fancy.
Yet, it is not always the case.
I was born at 9 pm in September, straight away after one of the hugest earthquakes in my birthplace.
Guess that is what certainly made me different from others.
Also, that night, I was the only newborn to have been saved.
My childhood was not a classic childhood.
My differences had always helped me stand out.
In what concerns to me, I owe my education to my grandmother, also an atypical profile with a bi-cultural background.
And hidden origins, justified by security reasons.

We lived at the border and shared our young years in North America.
My atypical vision and mentality made me explore the world, to discover its beauty, but also because I was looking for a place of vibratory resonance.
I lived in 4 different countries.
And I was able to visit 52 of the 193 existing ones.
Europe allowed me to identify myself and what I was looking after.
To embrace my desires, to accept my quest.
Today, after more than 15 years of research and 11 of fieldwork, I decided to devote a part of my life to "illuminate" those who can't understand their uniqueness, inspired by the "Artivism" movement.
Because we are wiser and better understood when we don't get lost in the current hypocritical human mass, but most of all when we express our differences by the beauty of Art and not by the use of violence.
